Respect Life News
The 2014-2015 Respect Life Program, provided by the USCCB, is now available on our Respect Life Month page.
The Archdiocese of New York’s Family Life/Respect Life Office provides a listing of parish activities in support of Respect Life Month. A complete listing of activities can also be downloaded by clicking here.
Tomorrow begins the 40 Days for Life Campaign throughout the Archdiocese and nationwide. If you are not familiar with the Campaign I strongly encourage to take a look at their website and sign on http://40daysforlife.com/. A major component of the campaign is the power of fasting united with prayer and witness. If you are not able to be present at a location praying then I would urge you to be united in prayer and fasting with others who are out there. This is a great opportunity for the young (schools should consider taking their students to be part of this), young adults, middle aged and older and gifted adults to all be part of.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity and the graces that you can be part of winning to aide in establishing a culture of life and to assist in the salvation of souls. I look forward to praying and witnessing with you — Sr. Shirley and I have already attended a wonderful kickoff meeting in Orange County and you’ll see us out and about at other various sites in the upcoming weeks.
